Elfbar 600 was found to contain at least 50% more nicotine than the legal percentage, so it has been removed from the shelves of many stores in UK.

The legal limit of nicotine content in e-cigarettes is 2ml, but the Post commissioned a test of three flavors of Elfbar 600 and found that the nicotine content is between 3ml and 3.2ml.

Mark Oates, director of the consumer protection organization We Vape, said that the results of the Post's survey of Elfbars were deeply worrying, and it was clear that there were mistakes at many levels.
"Not only is the content of electronic liquid too high, but also checks are carried out to ensure compliance with these guidelines. Either it has not occurred or it is insufficient. Anyone who supplies electronic cigarettes in the UK market should comply with this legislation."

UKVIA statement:
In response to Elfbar's recent media announcement, the British Electronic Tobacco Industry Association issued the following statement:
We know that Elfbar has issued an announcement and found that some of its products have entered UK, equipped with electronic liquid tanks with a capacity of 3ml. Although this is standard in many parts of the world, it is not the case here.
Although they are not members of UKVIA, we have sought assurances that they have mastered the matter and have made appropriate contact with the relevant authorities and the market. We understand that they are taking immediate action and will replace all affected stocks.
We are still waiting for more information from MHRA and TSO on this matter.
UKVIA does not tolerate any brands that intentionally overfill their equipment.
All manufacturers must comply with the UK regulations on the volume of electronic liquids and the concentration level of nicotine, because they are different from the rest of the world.
